Our 3rd annual Winter Music Camp will take place at the Sheraton and run throughout the day Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Class sessions, intimate instruction and master classes will be provided for students of all ages and levels. Top notch instructors from around the world will facilitate various strands / tracks that students can follow for multiple days, focusing on one instrument or electing to take different courses in different areas ranging from vocal work, songwriting, guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, mandolin, percussion and production.
Dare we say, the Folk Alliance Music Camp features an almost unprecedented lineup of instructors in what is intended to be a friendly, welcoming, accessible 3 days of music sharing for all involved.
This is a public event with the intent to provide music "campers" a winter event to attend akin to summer camps they might attend. Pre-registration is recommended to guarantee space in these exclusive instructional settings.
We know as musicians how hard it is to catch a lesson or two while on the road. Please let potential campers or band mates from your area or hometown know about our camp!
Camp passes can be purchased separate from the conference at a lower rate, and the awards show, official showcases can be added as desired. Discount passes available for youth and seniors.
