The All(most)-Star Café is our ever-popular late-night showcase specifically designed for
emerging artists. Play and listen to acoustic music in the best little café at the Folk Alliance
Conference. It's fun for the performers and fun for the audience. And … you never know who's
listening.
The All(most) Star Café is for musicians who are not on a national label, or performing in other
showcases. A performer must be registered for the conference, cannot be currently working with
an established agency or management firm and must have no more than two self-produced,
self-distributed recordings. Sign up for this showcase at the registration desk on the day of
your desired performance; slots will be filled by random drawing; names will be drawn at 5:00 pm
for specific time slots. Artists who are present in the café will have a shot at no-show slots.
