VOLUNTEERS

The Folk Alliance relies heavily on volunteers. From registration, to hospitality, to workshop hosts, and more, the volunteers in this workforce of about 90 people are often the faces that attendees see the most. Please consider pitching in to help make this another successful conference. Priority and conference fee waivers are given to those who can volunteer for four or five days.

If you are interested in being a conference volunteer in San Diego please let us know (and do not yet fill out the conference registration form!) San Diego area volunteers should contact Connie Allen at connie_allen@dulcimer.lover.org or (858) 492-9822 (before 9 PM) . Volunteers from other areas should contact the Folk Alliance office at fa@folk.org. Please be prepared to tell us whether you have volunteered in the past, what position you would be most interested in, your arrival and departure dates, and all of your contact information (email, phone, fax, address). You will be sent a volunteer sign-up form once you contact the office.

Volunteers are not eligible for booth or table space in the exhibit hall (paid registrants only) or the All(most) Star Café (open mic) (paid registrants only).
