Each artist's performance of two songs will be captured live by three
digital cameras linked to a switcher, then mastered to DVD with jewel case
and personalized label. Performances will be taped in front of a black
backdrop with professional lighting. A stylist will be on site to provide
basic hair and make-up services.

2. Organizational members - we created a way for you to get more out of your
membership. If you register four or more people from your organization, we
will give you a 15% discount on each registration! That’s a savings of over
$50 each! Do you already have one person registered? Just add three or more

FARWest Regional Meeting
FARWest, the Western states chapter of the North American Folk Music
and
Dance Alliance (Folk Alliance), have announced their second regional
meeting
for October 4, 2003, at Freight & Salvage Coffee House in
Berkeley,
California. The meeting will begin at noon with lunch and continue
through
evening showcases starting at 7:30 p.m. details!

Deadline Extended
The Local Conference Committee for San Diego 2004 is extending
the deadline for submissions for the Music Outreach program.
If you have experience performing for children grades 1-6 and
are interested in applying for one of these paid outreach program
performances please send a CD & media kit no later than

Extended Deadlines for Southwest Regional
The 4th Annual Southwest Regional Folk Alliance Conference is Sept 4 - 7
at Lakeway in Austin Texas. Go to
www.musicoffice.com and click on the SW Regional logo. The info and forms will
download and print from there. Official Showcase submission deadline is July 25th
and the early registration pricing is good until July 25th as well.
