In order to keep the conference activities at The Westin focused on serving our conference registrants, most of our public activities will now take place at The Sheraton Crown Center Hotel. These special showcases will have three nights of multiple stages featuring both national, local and international artists representing all styles of folk music. *Public Tickets are on sale now (all ages welcome).

Bela Fleck & Abigail Washburn Set To Open The 2015 FAI Public Showcase

The Folk Alliance Music Fair is pleased to welcome the wonderful Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn to the first FAI Music Fair on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at The Sheraton Crown Center Hotel Ballroom.  This very special showcase and master class workshop are part of the record release tour for their new self-titled album on Rounder Records.   

Sam Baker Concert & Songwriting Master Class At The Folk Alliance Music Fair - Public Welcome

Folk Alliance and Kansas City favorite Sam Baker brings his wonderful songs back to KC as part of our public concerts and will lead a rare Master Class Workshop for songwriters.  These events are part of the new Folk Alliance Music Fair and Winter Music Camp.  Public tickets are on sale now for only $25.00 per day/night.    

KANSAS GUITAR WIZARD ANDY MCKEE TO HOST WORKSHOP AND PERFORM AT THE FOLK ALLIANCE MUSIC FAIR

We are very pleased to announce the appearance of Kansas guitar hero Andy McKee on Saturday, February 21 at the Folk Alliance Music Fair.  Andy will conduct a master class finger style guitar workshop in the afternoon and perform in concert that evening as part of our public concert series.  More info on Andy is available here.
