Calling All Seasoned Conference-Goers! Become a Mentor in Our Connecting Folk Program

We’re excited to bring back our Connecting Folk Mentor Program — and we need you to make it a success!

Attending the conference for the first time can be overwhelming, and that’s where you come in. We're looking for friendly, experienced attendees to volunteer as mentors and help first-timers navigate the experience, make connections, and feel welcome in our community.

As a mentor, you'll:

Be matched with a first-time attendee before the event
Answer questions and share tips to help them prepare
Meet up at least once before the conference (even briefly!)
Help them feel more confident and connected
Help them during the conference if needed

Why volunteer?
