What are Official Showcases?

For three nights at FAI 2025 the best and brightest artists of folk and beyond take to our largest stages to perform for crowds of industry experts and – venues, festivals, DJs, labels, and more. For our industry pros, it’s a sure way to discover new talent to book, gig, or collaborate with.

It’s also a celebration of music and community! Hundreds of artists apply every year, and through a juried selection process 180 are selected to represent a diverse range of sounds, cultures, and stories – you could be next in the lineup.
